The vocals took a while longer but that's just due to the singers tracking the vocals after a 4 hour band practice. We tracked the guitar over a few takes only using a effects pedal plugged straight into the mixer to. The actual demo was recorded very roughly, we tracked the drums and bass at the same time with no metronome in one take and the bass was DI'ed directly into the mixer. This new expansion pack for Toontracks EZDrummer or Superior Drummer, meticulously sampled and constructed by Richard Veenstra, aims to do just that. Today e-drums can deliver the feeling of real acoustic drums, the sound of premium productions. It was actually pretty easy to set up and there are no effects on the drum kit except a few slight messing around with the slight EQ on some of the drum mics in the program for literally about 10 minutes. We used Reaper, and a cheap ~£100 electric drum kit connected via midi to EZ drummer.
